Journal First Track
BRAINS 2026 includes a journal-first track within its scientific programme, offering authors of recently published journal articles the opportunity to present their work to the conference community. This track allows participants to gain an overview of high-quality, state-of-the-art research relevant to the themes of BRAINS.
Scope
Submissions must refer to journal articles that:
- Address topics within the scope of BRAINS 2026, including blockchain, artificial intelligence, networking systems, security, privacy, and decentralized applications.
- Are original journal submissions (not extended versions of conference or workshop papers).
- Have been accepted for publication by a journal between 1st June 2025 and 1st June 2026; the acceptance must have been publicly announced; and the article must be available at the publisher’s website.
- Are written in English and have not been presented in journal-first tracks of other conferences.
Submission
Submissions must be made via the BRAINS 2026 submission system and include:
- Article title and authors
- Original abstract
- Link to the published journal article
Submissions will be evaluated by the journal-first track chairs based on topical relevance, scientific quality, and the standing of the publishing journal.
At least one author of each accepted contribution must register and attend the conference to present the work. Journal-first articles will not appear in the conference proceedings but will be listed in the conference program with references to the original publications.
