Call For Posters & Demos
BRAINS 2025 invites submissions for demonstration sessions (demos) aimed at showcasing research prototypes, tooling, simulations, and (decentralized) applications. Demo sessions serve as an excellent platform for both academic and industry researchers to present their innovative prototypes, elucidate inventive solutions, and engage in broader discussions.
In addition to demos, BRAINS will feature a poster session. For this, we invite poster paper submissions describing late-breaking or work-in-progress results relating to all areas of Blockchain. The poster session provides a chance for in-depth discussions with other conference attendees and is, therefore, especially well-suited to obtain feedback on ongoing research or controversial ideas.
As a prestigious forum for blockchain researchers and engineers, BRAINS 2025 provides a distinctive opportunity to exhibit applications, interact with a highly proficient audience, and deliberate on emerging technologies and recent research prototypes with leading experts. We encourage demo and poster submissions related to any of the technical areas outlined in the conference’s Call for Papers (CfP) including topics around:
- Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT)
- Decentralized Apps (DApps), Smart Contracts, and Chain Code
- Applications and Service Cases for DLT and DApps
Submission Guidelines for Demos
Prospective contributors should submit proposals in the form of either a 3-page paper for demos or a 2-page paper for posters following the IEEE conference double-column format with the following structure:
- Title, authors, and affiliations
- Abstract (≤100 words)
- Introduction: Highlight the significance of the tool for BRAIN’s community.
- Tool Features: Describe the tool’s main characteristics, including innovations.
- Tool Maturity: Provide a brief description of case studies and include scalability data or relevant pointers.
- Additional Materials: Contributors are encouraged to submit a short video (≤5 minutes) and provide a link to a webpage or an online repository.
Demo and poster papers will undergo peer review, and accepted papers will be included in the IEEE Xplore digital proceedings.
Demo and poster proposals should be submitted as a single PDF file, not exceeding 3 pages, including references and figures. All submissions must be made through EDAS via the provided URL. Only PDF files will be considered for the review process.
The content of the accepted demo / poster papers will be demonstrated through a physical demonstration during the conference. The demonstration can be accompanied by a poster. At least one author of each accepted proposal must register for BRAINS 2025 at the full conference rate and present their demo / poster at the scheduled session.
