{"id":48,"date":"2026-02-06T10:40:20","date_gmt":"2026-02-06T10:40:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/brains.dnac.org\/2026\/?page_id=48"},"modified":"2026-02-06T18:33:26","modified_gmt":"2026-02-06T18:33:26","slug":"submissions","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/brains.dnac.org\/2026\/submissions\/","title":{"rendered":"Submissions"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2><span style=\"color: #0c99eb;\"><strong>Submission Guidelines<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Submitted papers must represent original material that is not currently under review in any other conference or journal, and has not been previously published.<\/p>\n<p>All submissions should be written in English (in Two-Column IEEE Conference Format).<\/p>\n<p>Papers should be submitted through EDAS: <a href=\"https:\/\/edas.info\/N34965\">https:\/\/edas.info\/N34965<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Full paper<\/strong>: 8 pages<\/li>\n<li><strong>Short paper<\/strong> and <strong>work-in-progress paper<\/strong>: 4 pages<\/li>\n<li><strong>Poster &amp; Demo paper<\/strong>: 2 pages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0ca6ed;\"><b>Double-Blind Review<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Submissions must be anonymous<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. We follow a relaxed double-blind peer review process: authors are allowed to share their work on platforms such as arXiv and present it publicly. However, authors should not mention their own name or affiliation in the submission, or include obvious references that reveal their identity. A reviewer who has not previously encountered the work should be able to read the submission without learning the authors\u2019 identities. No modifications to the author list on a paper can be made after submission.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If your work is not yet available online (e.g., on arXiv), we recommend waiting until after the notification of acceptance before posting it publicly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For any questions regarding the double-blind policy, please contact the general co-chairs of BRAINS 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0ca6ed;\"><b>Use of Generative AI and LLMs<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"color: #333399;\">Guidelines for authors<\/span><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Authors must adhere to the IEEE policies (see <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/conferences.ieeeauthorcenter.ieee.org\/author-ethics\/guidelines-and-policies\/submission-policies\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Submission Publication Policies &#8211; IEEE Author Center Conferences<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, in particular section \u201cGuidelines for Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Generated Text\u201d).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Authors must ensure that all AI-generated content is accurate and supported by appropriate evidence. Submissions containing hallucinated citations, including references to non-existent or fabricated works, falsified or fabricated data, experiments, or results, or other unsupported claims presented as fact,<\/span><b> will be desk-rejected.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"color: #333399;\">Guidelines for reviewers<\/span><br \/>\n<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To protect the integrity and confidentiality of the peer-review process, reviewers must not upload any part of a submitted manuscript to public generative AI tools or LLM services. Reviewers who choose to use AI tools to assist in drafting their reviews (for example, for grammar checking of their own text) may do so only if they refrain from including any content from the submission itself.<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0ca6ed;\"><b>Best paper awards<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Two best paper awards will be delivered:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Best Full Paper Award<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Best Student Paper Award (conditioned to the papers quality)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>The best technical papers presented at the conference will be invited to submit an extended version for fast-track review in the ACM DLT journal (Distributed Ledger Technologies: Research and Practice).<\/b><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Submission Guidelines Submitted papers must represent &hellip;
