color: #0000ff;\"><strong><em>This page will be updated on a regular basis.******<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; color: #0000ff;\"><strong><em><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Please note that the same email address used for the registration should be also used for both Whova and Webex Meetings, or else you won\u2019t be able to attend the sessions.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the conference will take place virtually, we are doing our best for a smooth conference, for this, we will be using two different platforms: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.webex.com\/\">Cisco Webex Meetings<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/whova.com\/portal\/webapp\/ifipn_202006\/\">Whova<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cisco Webex Meetings will be the main video conferencing software used for paper presentations and all other sessions during the Conference\n<ul>\n<li>Accessing the meeting will be through the Whova App only, meetings link\/URL won&#8217;t be shared.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Whova, the Event Management System (EMS), will allow a continuous exchange between participants, organizers, and speakers despite the different Time Zones that BRAINS 2020 Conference covers!\n<ul>\n<li>View the event <strong>agenda<\/strong> and plan your schedule<\/li>\n<li>Access <strong>Livestreams and Videos<\/strong> directly within sessions and utilize the <strong>session Q&amp;A<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Set up <strong>Virtual meet-ups<\/strong> with your fellow attendees to connect remotely<\/li>\n<li>Create and converse through various <strong>Discussion Topics<\/strong> in the <strong>Community Board<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Receive updates such as <strong>last-minute session change<\/strong> from the organizers<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/whova.com\/resources\/how-to-guide\/user-tutorial\/\">How-to-guide<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Therefore, you will receive soon, notifications via Whova inviting you to download the Whova Mobile Application available on both IOS\/Android dedicated to BRAINS 2020 Conference and to complete your profile.<\/p>\n<div style=\"height: 212px; <a href=\"https:\/\/whova.com\/\">Whova<\/a><\/p>\n<p>As you already know, you will be using Webex as the video conferencing platform in order to participate in the Virtual Conference. Webex session could be joined via browsers, but we recommend you to install the application, if you haven\u2019t yet installed, you will be prompted to install it&nbsp;the&nbsp;first time you enter a session.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>2.Finding your session<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>In order to access the session, you need to have a Whova account.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ol>\n<li>Connect to the Web App <a id=\"whova-buttonlink\" style=\"background-color: #2dacee; padding: 4px; border-radius: 5px; color: #fff; font-size: 12px;\" title=\"Event management software\" href=\"https:\/\/whova.com\/portal\/webapp\/brain2_202009\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BRAINS 2020 Whova Web App<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Go to&nbsp;the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/whova.com\/portal\/webapp\/brain2_202009\/Agenda\">Whova Program&nbsp;page<\/a> and click on <strong>View Session<\/strong> for the session type you are interested in (e.g. Keynotes, Technical Sessions, etc.), the program page can also be accessed from the main menu of the IFIP website, you can also add session to your calendar.<\/li>\n<li>Click on <strong>View Live Stream<\/strong> to access the Webex room, each session will have a single Webex meet.<\/li>\n<li>Sub sessions are created for each paper, all sub sessions share the same Webex room of their main parent session (e.g. TS1, TS2, \u2026).<\/li>\n<li>Enter the webinar room in Webex<\/li>\n<li>Enjoy!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=pczoyGjC1v4\">here <\/a>for video guide.<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=pczoyGjC1v4\"><img src=\"https:\/\/brains.dnac.org\/2020\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/youtube.png\" width=\"32\"><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><strong>3.Webex Menu<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Please <em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>mute<\/strong> <\/span><\/em>your microphone when entering the room.<\/li>\n<li>Ask questions in the <strong>Chat<\/strong> or the&nbsp;<strong>Q &amp; A Chat<\/strong> first.
