This include finance and payments (e.g., Facebook Libra), but also networks (e.g., power grids or telecom networks), computing (e.g., brokering of edge resources), IoT (e.g., supply chain or industry 4.0) or service platforms (e.g., identity management). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BRAINS conference is dedicated to these new\nadvances that could make the world of networks and services more secure, while\nenabling new distributed business models. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Fondamentals\nof Blockchain and DLT :<ul><li>Theoretical contributions on &nbsp;blockchain and DLT<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Distributed consensus and fault tolerance solutions,\nincluding domain-specific consensus (e.g., for networking) <\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Tradeoffs between decentralization, scalability, performance\nand security <\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Protocols and algorithms<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Decentralized\nApps, Smart contracts and chain code :<ul><li>Development languages and tooling<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Security, Privacy, Attacks, Forensics<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Transaction Monitoring and Analysis<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Token Economy<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Distributed Trust<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Collaboration between on-chain and off-chain code<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Oracle <\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Application and\nservice cases of DLT and Smart-Contracts:<ul><li>Finance and payments<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>IoT and cyber physical systems<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Smart grids and Industry 4.0<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Networking, Edge and Cloud Technologies<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>5G Technologies, Telecom Process and Operation <\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Supply chain management<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Connected and autonomous vehicles<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Services or Resources Marketplaces<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Blockchain as a service<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>Blockchain-defined networking<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Submitted papers must represent original material that is not currently under review in any other conference or journal, and has not been previously published. All submissions must be written in English and must use standard IEEE two-column conference template.
